Each AI action has a fixed price. Editing by hand, exporting, web versions and test sends never use AI credits.

Every plan designs, edits and exports issues in your brand. The differences are below.
Swipe the table sideways to see every plan.
AI credits pay for AI actions at fixed prices: designing an issue costs 10, changing the whole issue with a sentence costs 3, and changing one section costs 1. A typical issue, one design plus a handful of edits, uses about 20 AI credits. That's roughly 3 issues a month on Free, 25 on Pro, 75 on Team and 250 on Agency. Editing by hand, exporting, web versions and test sends use no AI credits.
canvasletter compiles your issue for Kit, beehiiv, MailerLite, Mailchimp, Ghost, Buttondown, Brevo or Klaviyo, with that platform's merge tags for unsubscribe and "view online" already in place, or as plain HTML for any other platform. Copy or download the HTML and paste it into your platform's HTML editor. Some platforms accept custom HTML only on certain plans, beehiiv's paid plans for example. Pushing a draft straight to Kit or Mailchimp comes at launch. Every plan can publish a hosted web version and send a test to yourself.
Not for sending. Substack's editor doesn't accept custom HTML, so a designed issue can't be pasted in intact. You can publish the issue as a canvasletter web version and link to it from anywhere, Substack included. If sending from canvasletter is what you need, tell us, but we're not promising it.
Your workspace moves to Free. Your issues, brand kit and exports stay, and you can keep editing and exporting within its limits. You can export any issue as HTML and plain text at any time. A one-click export of your whole workspace comes at launch. Leaving is a supported path, not a negotiation.
No. Our AI providers don't train their models on data sent through their commercial APIs, and we don't use your writing to train models either. Letting us study anonymized AI edits to improve our own layouts is a separate choice, and it's off unless you turn it on.
Every plan chooses from curated type pairings. Gmail and most versions of Outlook ignore web fonts, so each pairing is built so its fallback (Georgia, Helvetica and the like) still looks deliberate in every inbox. Uploading your own brand fonts comes at launch. They'll show where email apps support web fonts, such as Apple Mail, and your pairing will cover every other inbox.
There's no time-limited trial; the Free plan is how you try it. It has no time limit and needs no card, and includes 60 AI credits a month. It adds a small "Made with canvasletter" line to exports and web versions.
Paste notes or a draft and get a designed issue in your brand. The free plan needs no card.
